My mother-in-law's great, great
grandfather was Peter Becht. I've been working on the Becht's for several years, without adding much to the
trees. I've been able to identify some unknown photos recently as being
the Becht's so now I add them to the photo albums. In my trip to Salt Lake City
in October 2004 I located Peter Becht in the German church records! I
obtained his birth place from his obituary from Orleans Parish Louisiana.
It said he was born in Ruelzhiem, Germany. There was only one roll of
microfilm for the area, but he, along with two other siblings was on it!
